π§ The mind is powerful. The things we think influence our actions and even impact our health and well being!
Our perspectives can change the outcomes of our struggles or get us into trouble!
Recall the βplacebo effectβ. It encompasses the power of the mind and can help us understand our intrinsic processes.
As a believer, I feel it is even more important to guard your heart β€οΈ and mind from the attacks of the enemy. β This may not come in the form of swords βοΈ or guns π«, because that is not entirely the war that is being waged. The true war is spiritual, invisible, but oh so recognizable!
It may come in the form of conflicting thoughts π. Thoughts that may seem innocent, logical even. But the Bible warns us to sift through the multitude of thoughts that come to us, picking and throwing out the bad ones.
Many evils begin as thoughts. One may just think π of a woman or man with lust. Yet we know that Jesus said this already is considered adultery! Why is that? Because thoughts that are not thrown out are planted in our hearts like seeds, where they begin to grow π± and if left unchecked blossom and bring forth fruit π
Mind your thoughts π
